Overview

The last years of the 19th century and the first of the 20th were times of great growth and substantial mobility in the Canadian population. Newcomers poured in from overseas to settle across the country. The prairies attracted many re-settlers from the East, as well. The maps and graphs in this Chapter, look at both these aspects of dynamic change. More
